Johanna Bruckner (artist and professor of art, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts) in conversation with Rebecca Herman (University of Potsdam) and Prof. Helen V. Pritchard (Institute for Experimental Design and Media Cultures IXDM, FHNW School of Art and Design Basel). Moderator: Gwendolin Kremer (Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections, TU Dresden).

As part of the EU-funded S+T+ARTS Ec(h)o project, artist Johanna Bruckner was a guest at the Office for Academic Heritage, Scientific and Art Collections at TU Dresden for the Exploring Human–AI Relationships” residency. Through dialogue with researchers, she further developed her artistic research on the interconnections between artificial intelligence, bodies, and material ecologies.
In the September issue of the online series Echoes of Tomorrow, Bruckner presents the research she conducted during her residency under the title The Perfect Perfect Dirty. The focus is on the relationships between AI, the body, and the environment, as well as the question of how algorithmic models shape our perception of ecological processes.
