Utilization of synergies, promotion of interdisciplinarity, increase of individual responsibility and creation of flexibility: Guided by these objectives, the 14 faculties of the TU Dresden will be reorganized under the umbrella of five areas. Guided by the principle of subsidiarity, academic diversity is to be diversity and at the same time exploit the synergetic advantages in research, teaching and administration.
Executive Manager for the School of Medicine
The Director for the School, who also acts as Head of the Faculty Administration, directs the administration of the school and is the supervisor to all staff employed here. If applicable by law, the Director for the School co-ordinates actions in line with the bodies responsible. She is responsible for the co-ordination and supervision of administration processes within the school’s administration. She especially represents the position of the school’s administration to the Technische Universität Dresden. Within her field of competence, the Director for the School executes the resolutions of the Office of the School.
Strategy and Finance Department
Tasks
The Strategy and Finance Department offers advice on the management and supervision of the personnel budget according to the general budget and is responsible for the further development of controlling instruments for the Faculty of Medicine.
