Symposium: “Women’s Health Between Pathologization and Medical Gaslighting—Knowledge. Power. Communication”

Women’s symptoms are very often not taken seriously within the healthcare system. This phenomenon is known as medical gaslighting and has a lasting negative impact on women’s health. The "Arbeitskreis Frauengesundheit in Medizin, Psychotherapie und Gesellschaft e.V." is therefore dedicating this year’s symposium, to be held on November 7 and 8, 2026, in Bielefeld, to the topic “Women’s Health Between Pathologization and Medical Gaslighting—Knowledge.
