The new action program "Family-friendly university 2022-2025" is now also available as a brochure.

The brochure presents measures that the TU Dresden (TUD) would like to use to further promote a culture of family friendliness. A particular focus of the new action program is on strengthening the role of fathers and the opportunity to take on family responsibilities on an equal footing.

Overall, the new action programme, which explicitly recognizes the diversity of all family constellations, aims to create an even broader awareness of the topic of family friendliness at the university and to anchor it even more firmly in the management culture.

The action program is the result of an external re-audit process that the TUD underwent and successfully completed in autumn 2023. This is the sixth time in a row that TUD has been certified since 2007.

"TU Dresden is one of the best family-friendly universities in Germany," emphasizes auditor Dr. Elisabeth Mantl, who has been supporting TUD for many years.
