Teaching Workshop: Curriculum Planning and the Role of AI on September 8, 2026
The Teaching Workshop is an open-format session that gives you an entire day to work intensively and with focus on further developing your course. A particular focus is on the integration of (generative) artificial intelligence—whether as a subject of study, a supportive learning tool, or an aid in lesson planning.
In this teaching workshop, you’ll have time to work on your individual teaching concepts in an inspiring and supportive atmosphere.
What to expect:
- Individual work time for your course,
- Insights into AI in teaching, e.g., regarding didactic application scenarios or handling AI-generated content,
- Peer exchange (across universities), and
- individual and group consultations with experts in higher education and media pedagogy.
The workshop is open to all faculty members at Saxon universities—regardless of whether you’re developing initial ideas or revising existing concepts.
When: September 8 , 2026, 9:00 a.m. – 2:15 p.m.
Where: Fritz-Foerster-Bau , Startraum FOE-101 (Mommsenstraße 6)
