CRISPR Roadshow in Dresden
From March 26 to 29, 2026, Dresden will host the "CRISPR Roadshow," an event designed to make science accessible and engaging for everyone. With a diverse program, the roadshow offers the opportunity to learn about the CRISPR/Cas method, engage in eye-level discussions with experts, and explore science in an entertaining way. Please note: All events will be held in German.
The event is organized by BioWissKomm, a company specialized in science communication, in collaboration with TU Dresden, the Center for Regenerative Therapies Dresden (CRTD) at TU Dresden, and the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (MPI-CBG).
The program offers fascinating insights: in various talks, experts will present current highlights from research and industry, while interested participants can try out CRISPR technology firsthand in lab workshops. The event also features a cultural highlight—a theater performance that humorously brings lab life to the stage through dance, music, and pantomime. Finally, exchange and ethics take center stage at the Science Café and a public forum, where the opportunities and boundaries of this technology will be discussed together with the audience.
