Student Research Exposition 2026
Student research makes an important contribution to science and society. In order for it to have an impact, it must be visible, understandable, and connectable. This is exactly where the Student Research Exposition 2026 comes in.
On May 7, the Student Research Exposition 2026 will take place in the Dülfersaal at TU Dresden, and we want to showcase what TU Dresden students are researching and make their work visible.
We are therefore looking for exciting contributions on seminar papers, theses, research projects, or group work. Students from all faculties at TU Dresden are eligible to participate, regardless of whether they are enrolled in a bachelor's, master's, diploma, or state examination program. Group projects and English-language contributions are also expressly welcome. Did something go wrong in your project? In keeping with TU Dresden's culture of learning from mistakes, you can also present what you learned from it.
You can choose between the following presentation formats:
- Two-minute pitch followed by a poster session
- Science slam with audience discussion
The StuFoExpo offers a great opportunity to present your research to an interdisciplinary audience and network with young researchers at TU Dresden.
Preparation workshop
In addition, all participants have the opportunity to take part in a preparatory workshop with stage and presentation coach Sven Hönig. The workshop is designed to help you strengthen your presentation skills in line with the requirements of science communication. You will learn how to present confidently, creatively, and in a way that is tailored to your target audience.
The workshops will take place on April 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and on April 17 from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
