SAXON SUMMER SCHOOL GENERAL MEDICINE IN DRESDEN

The Department of General Medicine at the TU Dresden has been organizing a two-day "Summer School General Medicine" very successfully and with great effort since 2015. 
With this additional teaching event, we aim to promote the professional development of prospective general practitioners in the state of Saxony and to bind them even more strongly to their future region of work. The participants learn important skills and soft skills for outpatient work. 

This year, our 8th Saxon Summer School General Medicine will take place on September 21 and 22, 2023. You can find the program here.

Our motto for the Saxon Summer School General Medicine 2023 is "Practice Skills in Family Practice". In addition to workshops on taping, wound care, sonography as well as ECG, we have lectures by experienced family physicians on the topics of urology and children in family practice ready for the students. We also want to show how research can be integrated into everyday practice and why this topic is so important in the first place.
