Image Processing Seminar Series at MTZ

In November 2015, we started is a new seminar series around the image analysishere at the MTZ. The goal of these seminars is to bring together people in the field of image analysistogether and talk, learn and discuss difficult issues .

Aim

We talk about different image processing questions and discuss their solutions using different software.

The seminar is open to everybody. Suggestions and new questions are welcome and can be sent to us ().

Structure

In the first two seminars were used fo short presentations (kick off seminars) where people presented their problems and issues in terms of image analysis.
The third seminar was "Basics for image analysis" given by Dr. Peter Dieterich (Institute for Physilogy).
The software "Voloom" was presented by Mr Keil of micro dimensions.
The following seminars will have topics like segmentation (with Arivis, Fiji and Imaris), colocalization, cell tracking ... . The exact details can be found below.
