CFCI
Core Facility Cellular Imaging - Light and Electron Microscopy Facility at the Medical-Theoretical-Centre (Medizinisch-Theoretisches Zentrum – MTZ) in Dresden. As member of the BioDIP (Biopolis Dresden Imaging Platform) we provide advanced imaging techniques and offer you technical assistance and support as well as the ability to book online.
University Archive
The archives of the Faculty of Medicine, the university campus of the TU Dresden, manages an informative and representative collection of archival materials on the history of the administration of the Dresden University of Medicine from 1954 to 1993. The archive also contains collections and pictorial documents of the Dresden medication history before 1954. The responsibility of the external office extends to archival documents of the medical faculty and the university hospital. In particular, the archive accepts the deed of the dean and its subordinate institutions according to the legal requirements and the historical value.
Branch Library Medicine
As a decentralised location of the Saxon State and University Library Dresden (SLUB), the Branch Library Medicine is situated directly on the campus of the FM. As learning and information centre for medical and health professionals, it supports learning and research at the FM. Extensive licensed electronic resources such as e-books, e-journals and databases are available throughout the campus. The SLUB-counselling services range from individual expert advice to courses for obtaining information and scientific writing and publishing.
MITZ
In the MITZ students of Medicine and Dentistry at the TU Dresden acquire manual and communicative basic skills under the guidance of medical, psychological and student tutors. The learning objectives and contents are developed in close co-operation with the special fields or different clinics and are conveyed suiting to the study progress in semester-specific training programmes.
KKS
The Coordination Centre for Clinical Studies Dresden (Koordinierungszentrum für Klinische Studien - KKS Dresden) is competent partner of clinical research. It supports the elaboration of research applications, advises on the planning and preparation of clinical studies, of which the implementation according to GCP standards can be later taken over by the KKS Dresden fully or partially (e.g. data management or monitoring). Furthermore, certified training courses on the subject of “Good Clinical Practice” are offered to directors of studies, examiners and teaching/ research assistants on a regular basis. On all matters of quality and risk management in clinical studies, the KKS Dresden also is your partner.
