PARTNERSHIPS
The Faculty of Medicine maintains more than 800 international collaborations. The Department of Development and International Affairs fosters a variety of partnerships with universities from abroad. This kind of international orientation of the Faculty creates an ideal environment for a diverse research community and significant innovations in the field of medicine.
In the context of the internationalization strategy, the Department is building targeted partnerships.
In the long term, we want to attract and retain talents from all over the world and enable stronger interdisciplinary networking. Thanks to the partnerships, the Carl Gustav Carus Medical School is characterized by an international campus adapted to the conditions and needs of a diverse research community.
As a result, we continue to be a recognized and attractive science location with excellent research opportunities for people from all over the world.
Three groups in particular benefit from the partnerships at the Medical School:
- Professionals
- Students
- Staff
We currently maintain particularly intensive partnerships with King's College London and Flinders University.
