Habilitation funding for women - Call open for 2027. Application deadline: 30.05.2026
It is a central concern of the Faculty of Medicine to support the academic goals of its female scientists and thus sustainably increase the proportion of women in leadership positions in academic medicine.
The habilitation support for women is intended to provide female scientists and researching female doctors with one year of freedom to enable them to fulfill the necessary requirements for opening the habilitation procedure. This includes active participation in teaching and in-depth didactic training. Mentoring, networking opportunities and the possibility of individual coaching are also part of the program. The Faculty of Medicine provides annual personnel resources for this purpose. The personal, situation-specific funding (max. 0.75VK) can be applied for according to the individual needs of the applicant.
The application deadline is 30.05.2026 and the recruitment symposium will take place on 30.06.2026.
