CAMINO supports Advanced Clinician Scientists at the interface between clinical practice and research. A structured concept fosters long-term and reliable career paths for Camino fellows at the Faculty of Medicine in Dresden.

Linking their research with interdisciplinary and innovative patient care,

long-term career perspectives and target positions supported by career-enhancing measures,

the establishment of sustainable mentoring and training concepts,

protected time for research as well as resources for translational, clinical research,

accreditation of training (in close cooperation with the state medical associations), and

the possibility to develop joint projects in research alliances with cancer experts on campus.

- the strengthening of oncological expertise and translation in the 4 research pipelines,
