Episode 18: What holds the world together on the inside - The pillars of society
Our podcast series YOU ASK we explain - Berührungsängste in der Medizin started in 2023 and is published monthly. In our 18th episode, as part of the TUD Lectures+, we discussed the topic: What holds the world together inside - The pillars of society
We wanted to discuss with you and answer your questions. How does a functioning democracy help to promote and protect social cohesion? We all know that democracy is important, but how exactly does it help to keep us together as a society? We take a look at how democracy strengthens the values of the rule of law, democratic principles and the dignity of each individual. The resilience of democracy is a crucial pillar in strengthening our social cohesion. But how does this work in practice?
