In addition to the provision of services, further central tasks of the Carus Lehrzentrum are the further and new development of training concepts, innovative teaching and examination formats, as well as the processing of scientific questions in the field of teaching research and medical didactics.

Good education needs innovation
University education is not static! Teaching concepts, methods and contents are subject to constant development. To keep up with this, teaching forms and formats as well as their procedures and processes have to be further developed. In this sense, the "CarL" pursues projects for the development and implementation of services (service projects) as well as in the field of medical didactic teaching and learning research (scientific projects). Within the scientific projects at the "CarL", medical PhD theses in this subject area can also be written. We offer close supervision by the "CarL" staff as well as by other committed university lecturers of our faculty.
