Invitation to the 3rd KIMed Network Partner Forum on 27 October 2026
The 3rd KIMed Network Partner Forum will take place in Leipzig on27 October 2026.
KIMed is an interdisciplinary research network in Saxony,coordinated by TU Dresden, Leipzig University and Mittweida University of Applied Sciences, which promotes the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in medicine. We bring together stakeholders from research, healthcare, computer science and industry from across Germany and around the world. Under the motto “AI Meets Medicine – Safe Solutions for Tomorrow’s Healthcare”, the upcoming forum will focus in particular on the question of how AI solutions can be transferred into medical practice in a safe and responsible manner.
The event will include, among other things:
- Expert presentations and discussions on the secure processing of medical data
- A presentation by biosaxony e. V. on the transfer of research into industry
- Short presentations by our network partners
- Interactive topic boards addressing the prerequisites and requirements for the successful implementation of AI in medicine
- Plenty of time for exchange, networking and new collaborations
