The event was moderated by our colleagues Anne Seim and Brita Sedlmayr and served as a platform for exchange between the junior research groups, working groups and other project participants. From 9 a.m. to 12 noon, participants discussed past activities and planned future projects.
The meeting began with a welcome from the network coordinator, followed by a report on activities since the last meeting. An outlook on upcoming events and new functions on the Confluence platform was also provided.
The following highlights characterized the meeting:

An important part of the meeting was the “Flashlight Round”, in which the highlights of the last three months were presented. This was followed by breakout sessions in which the participants discussed the various working groups - including the topics of terminologies, machine learning and clinical decision support.
At the end of the meeting, the focus was on planning the NWG Summer School. This will take place in Kassel in June 2025 and is intended to provide a platform for personal exchange and for working on specific topics.
The meeting ended with a summary of the breakout discussions and provided a promising start for the MII junior research groups in 2025.
