KIG und INTEROP COUNCIL zu Gast am ZMI
An exciting visit to the ZMI: This week, on June 24, a team from the KIG - Competence Center for Interoperability in Healthcare - visited us. The following day, the subsequent working session of the INTEROP COUNCIL, of which our ZMI Director, Prof. Dr. Martin Sedlmayr, is a member, also took place at our premises in Dresden.
We had the opportunity to present a key part of our wide-ranging research work to the KIG by presenting our research areas, selected key applications and various projects.
The focus was on:
➡️ ZMI - research fields and an overview of our multifaceted project scope
➡️ Integration into Dresden University Medicine
➡️ Research areas Interoperability, Data Science & AI, Usability & Technology Acceptance
➡️ Data Integration Center - DIZ: Services, data use, harmonization, processing and provision, added value and challenges
➡️ Usecase projects & selected contributions on the topics:
➡️ Cash register data
➡️ Registers and Rare Diseases (RD)
➡️ Patient Reported Outcomes (PROs)
➡️ Biosignals in sleep medicine
At the INTEROP COUNCILS working session held the following day, David Senf-Mothes, our second ZMI Director, presented the operator's perspective in a guest contribution and provided insights into the real, current realities of hospital IT.
