On 18 May, the KIMed team from Technische Universität Dresden, Universität Leipzig and Hochschule Mittweida met with us at the ZMI.The board was chaired by the Dresden PI Dr. Eveline Prochaska and took the form of a hybrid in-person meeting in which the cross-site team entered into dialogue, reported from the work priorities and work packages, and effectively advanced the project planning.
Dr. Kathrin Sobe reported on the development of knowledge for the governance of a TRE/SPE, on the data portal, on EHDS data protection, and on the connection to genom.de. At the same time, she opened the perspective toward relevant EU and national preliminary work, such as “Findata” or the Austrian “Access Portal for Health Data”.
Marcel Dilje reported on the current status of the abstract submitted to the ISCB GMDS on the topic of metadata catalogues for health data and requirements as a template for future health data projects.
Dr. Claudia Heine and Cornelia Dolling, as communications managers of the KIMed network, delivered a closer look at the pleasing stage of development of the LinkedIn channel and the upcoming launch of the large-scale project website.
