We are an interdisciplinary team of researchers and IT experts from Dresden University of Technology, the University of Leipzig, and Mittweida University of Applied Sciences. Together, we bring together national and international stakeholders from research, healthcare, computer science, and industry. Our central goal is to network expertise and promote AI innovations in a targeted manner.

A central component of KIMed is the design of a secure, data protection-compliant infrastructure in which medical data in Saxony and beyond can be processed in accordance with data protection regulations.
