New publication in BMC Cancer

The Bioinformatics Core Unit has published an article on „Comparative analysis of histologically classified oligodendrogliomas reveals characteristics molecular differences between subgroups“ in BMC Cancer.

In this publication, we show that gene copy number profiles alone are sufficient to derive known molecular subgroups of histologically classified oligodendrogliomas. Moreover, we revealed novel putative major regulators and characteristic stemness signatures indicating that different developmental programs are likely to be active in these subgroups.
