New publication on single cell imaging in Cell Reports

In collaboration with the lab of Jörg Mansfeld (Biotec, TU Dresden), Thomas Zerjatke and Ingmar Glauche published the research article "Quantitative cell cycle analysis based on an endogenous all-in-one reporter for cell tracking and classification" in the recent issue of Cell Reports.

In this publication, they establish an imaging pipeline for segmentation, tracking, and classification of cell cycle phases in time-lapse microscopy experiments using just a single fluorescent reporter. This now allows observing the kinetics of up to three additional fluorescent proteins in parallel and thus shedding light into their regulation during cell cycle progression.
