Strong participation by the ZMI at the MII Symposium 2025
On September 11, immediately following the GMDs, this year's symposium of the Medical Informatics Initiative (MII) took place at the Volkshaus in Jena. Dresden University Medicine – in particular the Center for Medical Informatics (ZMI), but also the Center for Evidence-Based Healthcare (ZEGV) – had a strong presence:
The “Digital Network for Cross-Sector Care, Research + Patients” – MiHUB – was presented at the poster exhibition. Prof. Dr. Martin Sedlmayr and Jens Weidner presented the project goals, existing and new structures, benefits, and connectivity of the new DigiHub.

Women’s power: Five female speakers from Dresden made key contributions to the conference:
