Molecular analysis of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) can aid in diagnosis and monitoring. The relationships between spectral and molecular profiles and specific pathologies remain largely unclear. The investigations involve both prepared, dried CSF samples and point-of-care spectroscopic analyses of native samples. The aim of the study is to identify, understand, and correlate molecular patterns in CSF with pathologies. Furthermore, the study is investigating whether ATR spectroscopy can be used to enable continuous and objective monitoring of disease progression.
