As part of the ESF junior research group KoSyn, we have established controlled communication between Saccharomyces cerevisiae and Bacillus subtilis.

The ViSuPar project is a cooperation between companies and the working group of Prof. Tilo Pompe and ourselves. The AiF-funded project aims to establish a rapid test for antibiotics. The kick-off meeting was held at HiSS Diagnostics in Erfurt on May 2nd.
Antonia Binder is a Master's student in the MBioPro degree program and has started her Master's thesis in our group after her semester abroad. We are pleased that she is with us and wish her much success and joy in her work on controlled cell-cell communication.
