Bacteriopolis at the COSMO Science Forum
For six weeks, the COSMO Science Forum in the heart of Dresden will be transformed into a living world of microbes. The traveling exhibition of the same name, Bakteriopolis, will be expanded and presented for the first time in a spacious exhibition room in the city center. This will create new opportunities for additional exhibits and interactive stations that will inspire visitors to discover the hidden world of bacteria.
Ceremonial opening of the exhibition on March 24
The exhibition will be officially opened at COSMO on March 24 at 6 pm . All interested parties are cordially invited to celebrate the launch of Bakteriopolis together. For planning purposes, please register in advance - we look forward to welcoming you and to a lively exchange.
Accompanying program and cooperations
Parallel to the exhibition, the CRISPR Roadshow The Gene Scissors will be held at COSMO in Dresden from March 26 to 29. With workshops, laboratory courses, a science café and other formats, it complements Bakteriopolis with current topics relating to CRISPR-Cas.
At the end of the exhibition on April 30, a workshop on fungal mycelium as an artistic material is planned.
