Discover the World of Bacteria – at the Dresden Science Night
Despite the high temperatures, the laboratories and institutes at TU Dresden opened their doors last Friday, offering all interested visitors exciting insights into current research.
We took part in the Dresden Science Night and offered a varied program. In addition to lectures for children and adults by Prof. Thorsten Mascher, interested visitors could explore various stations at our booth: “Sticking the Tips” required dexterity, and a matching game revealed some curious facts about the names of bacteria. Visitors could also take a look through a microscope and observe a gel electrophoresis experiment.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all our guests for visiting us, for their many thoughtful questions, and for the engaging conversations. We’re already looking forward to the next Dresden Science Night—and to welcoming you back!
