Successful Launch of the petZ Learning Modules — Request a Visit for the New School Year Now
There’s been a lot going on in our petZ teaching and learning spaces over the past few weeks. Kalle the woodlouse and Rosalie the rose-winged stick insect have been telling young explorers which terrariums they feel most at home in. Hissing cockroaches were observed making cautious contact with their antennae or aggressively ramming into one another. The perfect camouflage of nearly invisible ghost grasshoppers was deciphered, water fleas were made to float, and much more.
Over 300 students from ten schools in Dresden have already tried out our learning modules during the first rounds. The hands-on encounters and practical work with the animals, in particular, have inspired students and teachers alike. With curiosity and courage, the children discover just how fascinating even animals can be that initially seem strange or “gross” to them. Every hesitation they overcome becomes a sense of accomplishment that stays with them for a long time.
We’re thrilled by the high demand and positive feedback for our learning modules and are already accepting requests for the coming school year.
