Research & Teaching International

The diversity of the Faculty of Biology is reflected in the diversity of research objects and research areas. Within the scope of their research, the research groups maintain numerous cooperations with institutes in the field of mathematics and natural sciences (e.g. chemistry, physics) and other fields (e.g. medicine, engineering), but also beyond the university borders with institutions of the Dresden research landscape.

Together with the worldwide networking, this is a strength of the faculty and the basis for excellent research and teaching.

A not insignificant role is played by inviting internationally renowned scientists who shape their scientific field with excellent research.
