58. Naturstofftref­fen in Halle

A part of our group travelled to Halle (Saale), where our PhD student Manuel Einsiedler had the opportunity to present his work about a fungal dioxygenase within a talk at the 58^th Natural Products Meeting about chemistry, biology and ecology. This event was hosted by Prof. Wessjohann and took place at the Leibniz Institute of Plant Biochemistry.

The PhD workshop takes place twice a year and was started by Prof. Bringmann (Würzburg) in 1991. It serves as an interdisciplinary platform for PhD students working in the field of modern natural products chemistry and gives young researchers the chance to exchange ideas, get new suggestions for their research and practice their presentation skills in front of a broad audience.
