Zhengwei was born and raised in Henan, China, where he studied chemistry at Henan Normal University working on Palladium-catalyzed C-H activation & functionalization. After he got his Master degree, he worked as a chemistry teacher in a high school in Henan. Three years later, Zhengwei wished to resume organic chemistry research and joined our group to explore the application of ruthenium catalysts in radical organic synthesis. Apart from the life in the lab, he also likes traveling and playing ping-pong.
