Hongdong Yuan was born China and received his master’s degree in June 2019 from Shanghai University, China. For his PhD thesis, Hongdong decided to join our group from April 2020. His current research topic focuses on the “Metal-catalyzed formation of 4- and 5-membered rings”. Besides his enthusiasm for catalysis, he is a lover of nature and all kinds of outdoor sports, especially running, cycling, hiking.
