The Physical Chemistry (PC) is in addition to the inorganic and organic chemistry one of the classical branches of chemistry and is a must for any chemistry studies. They treated the interface between chemistry and physics, the laws of physics are studied on objects of chemistry. The Physical Chemistry tries to describe the properties of materials and their transformation with the help of theoretical and experimental methods.
The working group "Physical Chemistry" is headed by Prof. Dr. Alexander Eychmüller. On the following pages you will learn more about areas of research, teaching, projects and cooperation of the Chair.
