Guest Lecture Dr. Alexey Chernikov

Dr. Alexey Chernikov, Department of Physics, Universität Regensburg, held an online guest lecture for the Collaborative Research Centre 1415 on Thursday, February 18. His scientific talk "Mobile Excitations in 2D Inorganic and Hybrid Materials" focused on his current studies on the propagation of excitons (electron-hole pairs) in semiconducting van der Waals monolayers and hybrid two-dimensional materials, monitored directly via time-resolved optical microscopy.
