Guest Lecture Dr. Michael Bussmann

The Integrated Research Training Group 2D Materials (MGK-2DMs) together with the Integrating Research Theme Team Q4 (IRTT-Q4, Dr. Agnieszka Kuc) are pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Bussmann, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf, Center for Advanced Systems Understanding, to give a talk on October 18, 2022. His lecture "Data or Knowledge? Which One will Help us to Understand Matter Under Extreme Conditions?" focused on the advantages of machine learning to study materials under conditions usually found in astrophysical scenarios.
