Guest Lecture Prof. Austin Evans

The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1415 welcomed Prof. Austin M. Evans, University of Florida, for a guest lecture on September 01, 2022. In his scientific talk, "Structurally Precise Polymers for Electronic, Quantum, and Photonic Device" Prof. Evans explained the systematic design of structurally precise polymer systems. Among other things, he described the recent efforts using dynamic bonding, supramolecular interactions, and noncovalent templation to prepare two-dimensional macromolecular sheets as single-crystals and high-quality films, both of which are ideal for property and device measurements.
