Guest Lecture: Prof. Dr. Daniel Boese
The Collaborative Research Centre 1415 was delighted to welcome Prof. Dr. Daniel Boese from the University of Graz, Austria, as a guest. In his guest lecture "Intermolecular Interactions: From Small to Complex and Periodic Systems" on 5 February, 2026, he outlined how modern computational chemistry advances our understanding of weak intermolecular interactions. His talk highlighted recent developments in theoretical methods for modeling non-covalent interactions in molecules, on surfaces, and in molecular crystals, and discussed their impact on the accurate prediction of crystal structures.
We thank Prof. Dr. Daniel Boese for visiting TU Dresden!
