Girls' Day 2026: Insights into Chemistry

On April 23, 2026, the Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1415, in close cooperation with the Research Training Group 2861, welcomed twelve girls from Dresden and the surrounding region as part of Girls’ Day 2026.

During the workshop “Insights into Chemistry,” the participants first joined many other pupils at the opening event organized by TU Dresden’s Diversity team before spending an engaging morning in the student laboratory, where they experienced chemistry through hands-on experiments.

We would like to thank all participants for their active involvement and curious questions. We hope that this year’s Girls’ Day has inspired them to further explore the natural sciences—and perhaps consider a future in chemistry or related fields.
