Guest Lecture Prof. Dr. Hongjie Dai

For the second time, the Collaborative Research Centre 1415 welcomes Prof. Dr. Hongjie Dai, Stanford University, School of Humanities & Science, as a guest at Technische Universität Dresden. In his lecture "Reneweable Energy Research: From Electrochemical CO₂ Reduction to Alkali Metal/Cl₂ Batteries" Prof. Dai reported on his recent work on electro-reduction of CO2 (CO2RR) to high-value chemicals. In the second part of his talk, he presented his latest progress on developing high performance rechargeable Na/Cl₂ and Li/Cl₂ batteries.
