Long Night of Science 2022

On 08 July 2022, from 5:00 PM to 00:00 o'clock, the Technische Universität Dresden opened its doors to the public. The Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1415, in close cooperation with the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials, gave visitors an insight into the fascinating science of new synthetic two-dimensional materials. Scientific experiments, demonstrations and posters showed how two-dimensional materials are produced in the laboratory these days, which extraordinary material properties are investigated and for which future fields of application (energy, mobility, and microelectronics) these synthetic materials can be used.
