Long Night of Science 2024
On June 14, 2024 the Long Night of Science took place under the motto “United by Science” for the 21st time with over 700 events. Interested people were able to attend lectures, experiments, guided tours, exhibitions and films according to their individual preferences and thus experience science and technology and innovation, art and culture close up.
The Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1415, gave the visitors together with the Chair of Molecular Functional Materials on their booth in the lobby of the Chemistry building an insight into the research of new synthetic two-dimensional materials. With our tattoo-station, scientific experiments and demonstrations we showed, which exceptional material properties were investigated and for which future fields of application in mobility, energy and microelectronics these synthetic materials can be used.
We thank all the visitors for the interest in our research.
