Prof. Dr. Anjana Devi will strengthen CRC 1415 with her new scientific project
The consortium of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC) 1415 "Chemistry of Synthetic Two-Dimensional Materials" is pleased to welcome Prof. Dr. Anjana Devi, Chair of Materials Chemistry, as the new principal investigator. Starting October 1, 2025, Prof. Dr. Devi will bring her excellent expertise to CRC 1415 through her scientific project, "Controlled Growth of Large-Area 2D Heterostructures Using Chemical Vapor Deposition Routes." Her research focuses on the large-scale synthesis of two-dimensional materials (2DMs) and their heterostructures (HSs) using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) methods. Prof. Dr. Devi's project complements CRC 1415 and significantly advances the field of synthetic 2DMs and HSs. Additionally, her work will strengthen the inorganic division of CRC 1415 and potentially build the bridge to hybrid structures.
The consortium wishes Prof. Dr. Devi great success with her project and looks forward to fruitful future collaboration!
