The Collaborative Research Centre 1415 awards Dr. Volodymyr Shamraienko with the Thesis Prize
The Integrated Research Training Group “2D Materials” (MGK-2DMs) of the Collaborative Research Center 1415 “Chemistry of Synthetic Two-Dimensional Materials” has awarded this year’s Thesis Prize to Volodymyr Shamraienko in recognition of his outstanding doctoral research. His dissertation, “Studies on Two-Dimensional CuSe- and CdSe-based Nanomaterials: Shape, Thickness, and Composition,” was conducted at the Chair of Physical Chemistry of Dresden University of Technology under the supervision of prof. Alexander Eychmüller.
The Thesis Prize is awarded regularly by the Integrated Research Training Group to recognize exceptional doctoral researchers of the Collaborative Research Center 1415 for excellence in both scientific research and communication skills following the successful defense of their dissertations.
