The Equal Opportunities Officer of the School of Science and her deputy provide support and advice to the staff and students of the School in all matters relating to equal opportunities.

We try to work towards the realization of equality between women and men, the promotion of the compatibility of family and care with professional life and the creation of equal opportunities. To this end, we submit proposals and comment on matters that affect gender equality, in particular appointment procedures and the recruitment of academic and artistic staff. We are entitled to inspect application documents and participate in meetings of appointment committees and search committees with the right to speak and make motions. (cf. SächsHSG, §56(2))
