Through the Eleonore-Trefftz-Program, faculties and Central Academic Units have the oppotunity to invite excellent promising female scientists (postdocs or professors) to TU Dresden for 3 to 12 months. The female scientists can offer teaching programs, conduct independent research, network with their specialist community and thus get to know the TU Dresden as an attractive employer. They also serve as role models for academic careers of female students and scientists. As an instrument for the active recruitment of women, the Eleonore-Trefftz-Program is particularly aimed at faculties, in which appointments are planned in the medium term.
