PhD conference "chemTUgether" starts today
At the Faculty of Chemistry and Food Chemistry, a very special format begins today, Friday, May 13, 2022, at 2 p.m.: "chemTUgether" - Graduate Exchange to Enhance Excellent Research - a two-day conference at which the doctoral students of the faculty have the opportunity to present their research projects in presentations and posters to each other and to the professors.
After many conferences had to be cancelled in the past two years due to the Corona pandemic and the work in the home office severely limited the exchange and togetherness, the event holds the chance for the participants to again actively engage in scientific exchange beyond their own disciplinary boundaries and to see what great research projects are being carried out at the faculty. "Innovation through cooperation" is the guiding idea for the event by Dean Prof. Stefan Kaskel.
The event is organized by a group of PhD students led by Dr. Andreas Schneemann. The format is supported by equal opportunity funds from the Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences and the DFG Priority Program 1415 "Chemistry of Synthetic 2D Materials".
