Defense of the dissertation by Aaron Vollprecht on 15.4.2025

On April 15, 2025, the disputation of the doctoral thesis "Model Theory of Rings and Fields Finitely Generated over Local Fields" by Mr. M.Sc. Aaron Vollprecht took place. The dissertation, written between 2022 and 2024 at the Institute of Algebra under the supervision of Prof. Fehm and Dr. Dittmann, deals with model theoretical questions, for example in polynomial rings over the real or p-adic numbers. We congratulate Mr. Vollprecht on his successful defense and wish him all the best for the future.
