Research
My research focusses on dynamical systems and control in a broad sense. A wide range of different model classes is necessary to understand complex phenomena, including nonautonomous differential equations or
- delay differential equations
- random differential equations
- dynamic equations on graphs
Current research topics are e.g.
- spectral theory
- invariant manifolds
- topological and smooth normal forms (Hartman-Grobman and Poincaré theorems)
- stability radii and stabilization
- bifurcation theory and attractors
- transient dynamics and coherent structures
Most results are basic research and can be applied e.g. to models in systems biology or fluid dynamics.
