Analysis is one of the cornerstones of mathematics and its applications. Differential and integral calculus are part of the training of all mathematicians, natural scientists, engineers and economists. The main topics in research and teaching at the institute include functional analysis, operator theory, ordinary and partial differential equations and dynamic systems.
