The card game SET and arithmetic sequences

SET is a card game with 81 cards in which you have to find three cards that match certain rules as quickly as possible. In this lecture (held in German), a mathematical problem on so-called arithmetic sequences will be discussed in the light of current mathematical research results.

Lisa Sauermann is a professor of mathematics at the University of Bonn and conducts research in the field of extremal and probabilistic combinatorics.

In conversation with Andreas Thom, she will also talk about her day-to-day research and her career to date.
